Description

This is a cottage, likely dating from the 18th century or earlier. It is constructed with painted brick facing, with plastered rear and side walls. The roof is red clay tile, in a gambrel style, and features three gabled dormers. A prominent red brick chimney stack is located off-centre to the right. The building is one storey high with attic space, and has single-storey lean-to additions to both the right and left sides. The front has a three-window arrangement of diamond-leaded casement windows. A central, gabled porch with a dentilled soffit shelters a six-panelled door. Boarded doors with segmental heads are located to the left and right of the main entrance. A pump is attached to the right return wall.
