Description

This barn, dating from the 18th century, is located approximately 65 metres southeast of Great Yeldham Hall. It features a timber frame, is weatherboarded, and has a roof made of corrugated iron. The barn consists of five bays aligned northeast-southwest, with a midstrey to the southeast. The walls have primary straight bracing, hanging knees to the tiebeams, and a clasped purlin roof. It is listed for its group value with Great Yeldham Hall, as well as the byre, granary/cartlodge, and dovecote nearby.
