Number 1 (Astles) features cast iron front garden railings dating from the 18th or 19th century. The railings consist of continuous tall and half-height posts with arrowhead designs, along with central and upper rails. The gate posts are ornate with open work and floral finials, and the gate matches the design of the rails and posts.
