Description

No. 14 Crown Street is a cottage that was originally part of a pair of cottages, dating from the late 17th century. The building is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red pantile roof and featuring a central red brick chimney stack. It has one storey with attics, and includes two catslide dormers, each fitted with small paned horizontal sliding sashes. On the ground floor, there are three windows; two of these match the dormers, while the window to the left is a 20th-century small paned casement. The entrance is marked by a 20th-century vertically boarded door with a small side light.
