Description

These garden railings form the front boundary to the garden of number 32 on Hemsworth Barnsley Road. They date from the early to mid 19th century and are made of sandstone and cast iron. The railings feature a plinth of large dressed blocks, with iron bars topped with ogee heads and U-cresting adorned with arrow heads. The design is divided into groups of ten by knobbed standards.
