Description
Bower Hall is a house dating to circa 1600, with later additions and 20th-century alterations. It has an exposed timber frame of three bays, displaying a long wall jetty to the front. The roof is covered in cedar tiles. The house has two storeys and a three-window range, featuring 20th-century casements, including a central ground-floor leaded-light bay window. External red brick chimney stacks are located to the right and left. A rear red brick chimney stack retains some original brickwork; it contains a 20th-century fireplace with an ornately carved Jacobean mantlepiece, possibly from another location. A 20th-century single-storey flat-roofed extension is attached to the left.
