Description

Moon House is an 18th-century timber-framed and plastered house that was formerly known as The Fir Trees Inn. It has two storeys and features a three-window range with 20th-century casements that include glazing bars. At the east end of the ground floor, there is a three-light canted bay window with 19th-century double-hung sashes. The entrance is marked by a six-panel door, which has glazed upper panels, pilasters, and a cornice. The roof is tiled and includes end external chimney stacks. Moon House is part of a group that includes Fir Trees Cottage, Headlands, King's Farmhouse, and Lodge to Cavendish Hall.
