Description
Greys Hall features enclosing forecourt walls and railings that date back to the 18th century, located on the west face of the house. The attached red brick walls on either side have semi-circular brick coping and end in pillars topped with moulded stone coping. There is a brick plinth supporting the wrought iron railings. Between the plain rail panels with finials, there are narrow sections of ornate scroll work that also include scroll finials. The forecourt angles of the brick pillars display additional scroll work. The central gate posts are set on stone bases and consist of four shafts topped with ornate vase finials and further scroll work above. To the right, a red brick wall with flared headers and moulded coping extends to the end of the garden.
