Description
This is a wall that extends eastwards from the barn of Great Lodge, dating from the 17th century and extended in the 18th or 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in English bond and features half-round moulded coping bricks. The wall is butted against the southeast corner of the brick barn and originally extended eastwards for approximately 20 metres, with two extensions made to the east. It stands at a height of about 3.5 metres. The last 6 metres at the eastern end was originally about one metre high but was raised in the 18th or 19th century to match the height of the rest of the wall, although it does not have the half-round coping.
