Description
Sharldlow's Farm barn, located approximately 50 metres east of the farmhouse, dates from the 17th to 18th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, featuring a half-hipped roof made of corrugated iron with a half-hipped midstrey. The barn consists of five bays and includes hanging knees to the tie beams, through bracing to the walls, and a halved and bladed scarf joint at the top plate. The side purlin roof is noted as being good for its type.
