Description
Little Beechwood is a cottage dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a gabled roof that was originally thatched but is now covered with pantiles. The building features a central ridge line, a rectangular stack, and two gabled dormers on the south side. There is a central 20th-century gabled porch and 20th-century diamond leaded light casement windows. Inside, there is much reused timber and a double-sided inglenook fireplace that includes a reused moulded timber mantel beam. At the rear, there is a gabled 20th-century extension with a catslide porch.
