Description
This barn, dating from the 15th or 16th century, is located approximately 4 metres west of another barn, which is 20 metres west of Haverings Farm, along The Street in Rayne. It is constructed from timber framing and is covered with weatherboarding. The roof is made of corrugated asbestos, hipped towards the road, and features an outshot with a midstrey on the right side. The barn consists of four bays, plus one additional extension bay. It has halved arch braces supporting the walls and a roof structure supported by two armed crown posts.
