Description

This barn, located approximately 35 metres south west of Rayne Hall, dates back to the 16th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, featuring a roof clad in corrugated asbestos. The barn has five bays and includes double vertically boarded doors. Inside, there are arched braces supporting the tie beams, and the side purlin roof is enhanced with arched wind braces supported by queen struts. The walls also feature halved arch bracing.
