Description
The Kings Head Public House is a late 17th-century building that has undergone alterations and additions in the 19th century. It features a timber-framed and plastered structure with painted brick casing and a plastered plinth. The roof is plain tiled, with gable end stacks that have been reduced and capped, and a red brick stack located behind the ridge to the right of the center. The building has two storeys and a three-unit plan. It includes a boarded door and three wide eight-paned hung sash windows set within segmental brick arches, as well as four horizontal sliding sash windows on the first floor. The Kings Head is noted to have been open since at least 1847.
