Description

This is a late 18th century cottage, restored around 1980 and with a later extension to the rear. It is timber framed, with plaster rendering over a brick plinth, and has a steeply pitched thatched roof made of long straw. A small ridge stack is also present. The building is arranged with a two-bay plan and a lobby entry area. It is a single storey building with an attic. There are two flush frame horizontal sliding sash windows with small panes of glass on either side of the front door. The cottage is situated on the edge of the former village green.
