Description

This is an 18th-century cottage that was altered in the 19th century. It is timber-framed and plastered, with a mansard roof thatched with long straw. It has a gault brick stack and a three-bay plan with a front facing the road. The cottage is one storey high with an attic, and features two gable dormers. There are four windows with small panes, and a boarded door is located in the centre bay. Two horizontal sliding sash windows, also with small panes, are set into the road-facing end. The cottage is situated on the edge of the former village green.
