Description

The granary at West Grange, now used as an office, dates from the early 17th century. It has a timber frame that is partially rendered, with the ground floor encased in red brick from around 1890. The building features a plain tiled gabled roof and stands two storeys high, with the first floor jettied out at one gable end. The framing includes close studding and downward bracing that is visible on one gable end. The windows are casements, also dating to around 1890. Inside, the building retains exposed framing and has two original openings in the wall facing the street, which are now blocked.
