Description

White Cottage is a cottage, likely from the 17th century, that was converted into two cottages in the 19th century and is now a single dwelling with a 20th-century extension at the rear. The building is timber framed and plaster rendered, topped with a thatched roof and a gault brick stack. It has a single range and a lobby entry plan, standing one storey high with an attic. There are two 20th-century dormers and three windows on the ground floor, including an early 19th-century horizontal sliding sash window with small panes. Inside, the cottage features straight bracing typical of 17th-century framing.
