Description

The Cottage is a cottage dating from two building periods, both in the early 19th century. The south end features timber framing, plaster rendering, and long straw thatch, with a grey brick external end stack. It is one storey and has an attic, with one 19th-century casement window and a doorway that includes a 19th-century boarded door. The north end is constructed of dressed clunch, also with long straw thatch and a grey brick end stack that has two flues. This section is also one storey with an attic, featuring a 19th-century pantiled dormer and a horizontal sliding sash window on the ground floor, which is also from the 19th century.
