Description
This is an 18th-century cottage that was extended and altered in the 19th century. It has a timber frame, now rendered with plaster, and a long straw thatched roof, half-hipped at the south end. The roof was raised in the 19th century, with pantiles added to the central bay. A single flue ridge stack and a later stack, dating from the roof raise, are present. The cottage is one storey and has an attic, containing one dormer window. It has three flush-frame horizontal sliding sash windows. A doorway leads to a lobby entry. The cottage is described in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments for West Cambridgeshire.
