Description

This is a house, likely dating to the 17th century. It is timber-framed, with rendered walls and a tiled roof. An original red brick stack is located at the junction of the main range and the south crosswing, while the three diagonally set shafts have been rebuilt. The house follows a hall and crosswing plan.

The main range has two horizontal sliding sash windows on each floor, and a boarded front door. The south crosswing also features horizontal sliding sash windows on both the ground and first floors.

Inside, the timber framing is of light scantling. The crosswing was originally a parlour wing and retains an ogee moulded main beam. The main range includes a hall and an unheated kitchen at the north end.
