Description
This is a cottage dating from the late 16th or early 17th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is timber-framed and has a roughcast render. The cottage has long straw thatched roofs and a ridge stack. Originally, it likely had a three-unit plan, although the roof on the right-hand portion has potentially been raised. A 20th-century gabled porch with a glazed door is located on the right-hand side. There is one 20th-century ground floor casement window and one horizontal sliding sash window, along with one horizontal sliding sash dormer window. The cottage is documented in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments for West Cambridgeshire, page 95, monument 14.
