Description
Green Farmhouse is a house that was formerly a farmhouse, likely built in the late 15th century or early 16th century. It was remodeled and partly rebuilt in the 17th century, with later alterations. The building features an exposed timber frame and plastered walls, topped with plain tile roofs. It has a ridge stack with grouped diagonal shafts and two side stacks on the left side. The house has two storeys and attics, with a hall that has crosswings to the east and west. There is a 20th-century boarded door in a closed plain tiled porch to the left of the main range. The ground floor has four windows of various sizes, and there are four first-floor windows, including one horizontal sliding sash window. Inside, the house showcases exposed floor frames and timber framing with original openings, as well as two diamond mullioned windows. It also contains open hearths and a sealed baking oven, along with side purlin roofs.
