Description
No. 24 Foxton Road is a cottage, likely from the 18th century, that was renovated in the late 20th century. It features a timber frame with plaster rendering and a long straw thatched roof, topped with a single flue grey brick stack at one end. The building has a single range and a two-bay plan with a lobby entry, and there is a narrower storage bay that may have been added later at the east end. The cottage is one storey high with an attic, which includes one dormer. It has two horizontal sliding sash windows, and the doorway is located opposite the stack. Inside, there is a rebuilt inglenook hearth, and the wall framing is slender and staggered over the bracing.
