Description

This is a mid-19th century water mill located on Mill Lane in Bassingbourn-cum-Kneesworth. The building is timber-framed and features weather boarding painted white, with slated roofs. It stands two storeys tall and has an overshot wheel that drives two mill stones. The mill includes six iron casement windows and a boarded door at the main entrance. Above the entrance, there is a projecting loft hoist supported by curved brackets, which has a gabled roof.
