Description

This is a water mill located immediately north of Church Farmhouse, dating from the 18th century, with most features from the mid-19th century. The mill has boarded walls and a hipped pantile roof, forming an L-shaped block with a timber frame set on a brick base. The north side of the building has two storeys and three upper windows, which have cambered heads. The base wells in the mill race indicate the position of the wheel axle, although this is now blocked. The east elevation, facing the road, features two full-height openings, each with upper and lower doors.
