Description
The Library to Sawston Village College is a building constructed in 1930, designed by architect H.H. Dunn. It features dark plum brick and red pantiled hipped roofs. The structure is single-storeyed with a symmetrical plan, consisting of a central block of five bays flanked by lower wings. The three central windows are shaped as round arches and include interlacing glazing bars, along with twenty-five paned hung sash windows and apron panels below. There are entrances on both the left and right sides, each with deep moulded cornices above the architraves and recessed half-glazed doors. The lower wings each contain three hung sash windows, with the central windows consisting of three lights.
