Description

No. 2 Church Lane is a 17th-century cottage constructed with a timber frame, rendered and painted brick. It features a gault brick ridge stack and an end stack on the northeast side. The roof is covered with long straw thatch. The cottage is one storey with an attic, and it has a boarded door set within a 19th-century door case at the lobby entry. There are two plain tile gabled dormer windows with casements and three ground floor casement windows that do not have glazing bars.
