Description

The Grove is a house that was originally a row of cottages, dating from the early 18th century, with possible additions from the 19th century and renovations in the 20th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped by a thatched roof. The building features two gault brick ridge stacks on the right side and a square planned stack on the left, which has four shafts that come together at the top. The house has one storey and an attic, with a 20th-century closed porch that includes a boarded door. There are six casement windows on the ground floor and four eyebrow dormer windows in the attic.
