Description

House at 42 High Street, built in the late 18th century or early 19th century, features a later addition and 20th-century alterations. It has a timber frame with plaster and red and gault brick, topped with plain tiled roofs. The building is two storeys high and has a double pile plan made up of two parallel ranges. There is a stack located to the west of the ridge. The front has two early 20th-century casement windows on the ground floor and two more on the first floor, all arranged symmetrically, with a four-panelled door to the left.
