Description
Drayton Cottage is a late 17th-century cottage that may have a timber frame encased in brick, which is painted. It features a painted brick ridge stack and has thatched roofs, with the original building having a half-hipped roof on the left side. The cottage is one storey with an attic and follows a lobby entry plan, with a lower range positioned at right angles to the north. There is a modern porch with glazed doors, flanked by two four-paned hung sash windows that have margin lights. Additionally, there are two windows and a door in the gable of the wing, as well as one dormer window with margin lights.
