This is a well located approximately 4 metres northeast of Number 1 (Dove Cott) in Guilden Morden. It dates from the 19th century or earlier and features a timber-framed windlass, which is equipped with iron bands on the roller, along with a wrought iron handle, chain, and hook. The windlass is sheltered by a simple wooden roof. This structure is included for its group value.
