Description

Danesbury House is a house, likely dating from the early 18th century and restored around 1984. It is timber-framed and has a plaster render, with a steeply pitched tiled roof and a rebuilt ridge stack. The house follows a three-bay lobby-entry plan. The upper floor has three small-paned casement windows, with a doorway situated opposite the stack. A 19th-century kitchen addition, single-celled with a tiled roof, extends to the left.

Inside, the house features stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops. The main structure comprises three bays, a narrower lobby entry, and a firebay. Abutting hearths are present in the centre room and parlour. The roof is a clasped side purlin roof with Queen struts to the principal rafters.
