Description

This is a 17th-century T-plan timber-framed farmhouse, dated 1662, with later alterations. It is faced with plaster and rough-cast rendering. The roof is plain tiled, with a half-hipped section on the left. A prominent red brick ridge stack has three shafts topped with a common capping. The front elevation features decorative pargetting in the form of two scrolls and two swags. At the first floor are two two-over-two sashes with glazing bars; similar windows are present on the ground floor. The main entry is located opposite the stack. The main beam of the ground-floor room on the right hand side has moulded stops. An 18th-century brick addition extends to the left. This addition is also two storeys high.
