Description
The Shieling is a 19th-century cottage with origins dating back to the 17th century. It is constructed of colour-washed brick and features a thatched roof with parapet gable ends supported by kneelers. The building has a red brick ridge stack and two end stacks. There are two 19th-century brick dormers with gables on kneelers. The cottage is one storey high with attics and has modern windows and a door.
