Description

Porch House is a cottage dated 1666, located on Manor Street in Wistow. It features a timber-framed structure that is rendered and sits on a brick sill. The roof is thatched and half-hipped, with a ridge stack that has grouped diagonally set shafts made of gault brick. The building is one storey with attics and includes three dormers. At the ground floor, there are four modern casement windows, and the entrance is located opposite the stack, featuring a modern door and a gabled porch. To the right, there is a later timber-framed addition that is weather-boarded and also sits on a brick sill, with a thatched roof.
