Description

This cottage, located approximately 40 metres south of The Castle in Leighton Bromwold, dates from the 18th century or later and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with plastering, a brick plinth, and a central ridge stack. The roof is plain tiled and the building stands two storeys high. The original entrance on the east elevation has been sealed and replaced by a porched entrance on the north side. There are three ground floor and four first floor casement windows, all from the 20th century, varying in size and fitted with leaded lights. The cottage is included in the listing for its group value.
