Description
No. 1 Main Road is possibly an original 17th century two-unit plan timber-framed cottage, which features a late 17th century two-storey extension to the northeast. A similar two-storey brick extension was added to the northwest, along with an outshut in the angle during the 19th century. The building is rendered timber-frame with painted brick and has steeply pitched plain tile roofs. It includes a ridge stack, modern casement windows, and four horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars in the paired gables of the northeast facade.
