Description

No. 12 on Main Road is a late 18th-century cottage built of local red brick. It features a plain tiled roof with end stacks and stands two storeys high. The front has two horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars and open boxing, along with a smaller similar window. Flanking the central doorway are two more matching windows. A later canopy supported by brackets and topped with a tiled lean-to roof covers the entrance. At the rear, there is a 19th-century wing constructed of local gault brick, also with a plain tiled roof.
