Description
The Robin Hood Public House is an 18th-century building that has been altered over time. It stands two storeys high and features a double-fronted design with three windows. The roof is tiled, and the exterior is finished in stucco. There are two original chimney stacks, which have been partly rebuilt. A cornice and blocking course are present, along with a moulded band at the first floor level. The central doorway bay is pedimented and flanked by pilasters that extend through both the first and second floors. The first floor has segmental-arched recessed sash windows. Above the doorway, there is a round-arched niche with an architrave. The ground floor has modern windows that are flanked by pilasters supporting an entablature. The doorway is square-headed and features a bracketed cornice. At the rear of the building, there is a wooden inn gallery. This public house is included for its group value with the nearby Red House.
