Description

Willows Cottage is a possibly early 17th century cottage located on the south side of High Street in Hemingford Grey. It is a one-storey building with an attic and features a three-unit plan. The cottage is thatched, with a timber frame and rendered exterior. It has a red brick tumbled parapet gable, which includes a rubbed brick moulded kneeler on the left side. The cottage has a ridge stack and an end stack. There are two dormers, one of which has horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are two horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars, along with a three-light iron framed casement window that has rectangular leaded lights and an original window catch.
