Description

This is an early 19th century house, likely formed by combining two buildings and potentially incorporating an earlier structure. It is a two-story, double-pile house. The exterior is constructed of gault brick with a hipped slate roof and two ridge stacks. The eaves are boarded. A band runs horizontally between the two storeys. The main west-facing entrance has an open-sided porch supported by slender square-section columns with recessed panels, a plain entablature, and a flat canopy. Double-glazed doors are set within panelled reveals, topped by a semi-circular fanlight. The garden facade features a row of four French windows, each with margin glazing bars and a fanlight set within a segmental arch, surrounded by panelled architraves and bracketed pelmets. Inside, there is a good open-string staircase.
