Description

Wood Cottage is a late 17th century or early 18th century timber-framed and plastered cottage. It features a thatched roof with a ridge stack and an end stack made of 19th century brick. On the north side, there is a pantiled and weatherboarded lean-to that includes one horizontal sliding sash window with glazing bars, one fixed light window, and a modern door. The rear elevation has various sizes of 19th century windows, all with glazing bars. Inside, some of the timber frame is exposed, and there is an inglenook hearth.
