Description

Hayfield Cottage is a late 17th century timber-framed and plastered cottage, which may incorporate part of an earlier timber frame in its west gable. There is a modern painted brick wing added to the north. The cottage features thatched roofs and an original red brick ridge stack. On the north elevation, there are four modern casement windows and a boarded door.
