Description

The Chapel of St Ledger, built in 1588, is a Grade I listed building that was restored in 1930. It has two storeys and features a splayed apse built over an enlarged middle pier on the eastern side. The first floor, which is at road level, has two-light traceried windows and retains elements associated with the worship of St Ledger. The ground floor includes a cast iron balcony that overlooks the river.
