Description

No. 2 Stow Road is a house dating from around 1700. It is two storeys high with an outshut and wings at the rear. The building is timber framed and plastered, topped with a hipped plain tile roof and featuring a central stack located behind the ridge. On the first floor, there are three hung sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor has three similar modern replacements. The entrance features a 19th-century flush panelled door set within a plain wooden architrave. Inside, the house has stop-chamfered ceiling beams, some exposed timber framing, and renovated inglenook hearths.
