Description

No. 114 High Street is a house dating from the 17th century, with early 19th-century cladding. It has a timber frame and is plastered, featuring a wooden eaves cornice beneath a steep, plain tiled roof. A very large brick chimney stack is positioned towards the left end of the ridge. The building has two storeys and an irregular arrangement of windows, including two sliding sash windows on the first floor and two glazing bar sash windows on the ground floor, with the leftmost window being very wide and having a cornice hood above it. The fenestration is positioned to the right of the front. There is an off-centre four-panel door located to the right.
