Description
Hill Lodge is a house dating from the early 18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. The exterior is finished in stucco and features a dentilled cornice above a plain tiled roof, which is hipped to the right. The hip of the rear wing is visible over the ridge on the right side. There is a stack located to the right of the building. The house has three hipped dormers and is two storeys tall with attics. The front has a regular arrangement of five windows, which are glazing bar sashes set in open boxes. The central entrance consists of an eight-panel door topped by a 19th-century radiating fanlight. This entrance is framed by a fluted Doric pilaster surround that supports an open dentilled triangular pediment.
