Description

This is an early 18th-century house on the north side of Lewes High Street. It is constructed of painted brick with a plain tiled roof, featuring two stacks at the rear and two flat-headed dormers. The house is two storeys high with an attic, and has an irregular number of windows on the first floor (two) compared to the ground floor (three). The first-floor windows are glazing bar sashes set in open boxes. The ground floor windows are also glazing bar sashes. A panelled door is situated to the right of centre, complete with a transom light and a flat hood supported by brackets.
