Description

May Cottage, formerly known as White Cottage, is a 17th-century cottage located on the west side of St Ives Road in Houghton. It features a two-unit plan and has been largely rebuilt. The cottage is one storey with an attic and is constructed from part rendered timber-frame and colour-washed brick. It has thatched mansard roofs and two ridge stacks. The building includes modern dormers with casement windows, as well as modern casement windows and a door at the ground floor.
